Torena | Lansing, Michigan Senior Pictures

I was so excited to meet up with Torena for her senior pictures at one of my favorite locations, MSU gardens! Each time I visit, I find something new to photograph making it the perfect location for senior photos because seniors can go there and still get unique shots. Not only are the gardens beautiful, but MSU’s entire campus is lovely, everywhere you turn, there is a photo opportunity! Once again, MSU did not disappoint for senior pictures because Torena’s session was amazing! Here are a few of my favorite photos from her session along with a little more about her!

RP: What were you looking forward the most for your senior pictures?

Torena: I was really looking forward to dressing in all my outfits and getting pictures of them.

RP: I know you are planning to study in Japan after high school. What will you be studying and how are you preparing for the move?

Torena: I will be studying Manga. I prepare myself for the move by studying Japanese everyday, along with good amounts of research for a long list of questions. I have yet to apply to the college due to some other language test I have to pass.

RP: What piece of advice would you give your younger self and why?

Torena: I would tell my younger self to be more resilient and that worrying over things too excessively isn’t good. But that last part is a piece of advice I still need to take.

RP: What is your favorite pastime and why?

Torena: I’m an artist, so I love to do all kinds of art. I draw mostly, practicing my skill to get better everyday. I also really like video games and camping.

RP: What are you most looking forward to during your senior year?

Torena: To be honest, I’m just really looking forward to getting it over with. My senior year is just a small gap of time where I can study and get as much done as I can for my future outside of high school.

Thank you, Torena, for allowing me to capture your senior portraits!
