Shayla | Grand Ledge & Portland Senior Photos

Shayla and I were planning to meet at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan until we found out that road construction would get in the way to us entering the park. A last minute change led us to a nearby Park and I am so happy we ended up here! Lincoln Brick Park is the perfect location for senior pictures because it has so many great options like bridges, trees, a pond, old bricks, tall grasses and so many other beautiful spots to choose from! Not only was the scenery beautiful but Shayla is gorgeous too! After wrapping up at this park, we decided to travel to Portland to get some classic photos of the night lights, the sunset and the bridge. It was the perfect way to wrap up such a gorgeous evening with Shayla! Here are a few of my favorites from her session along with a little more about Shayla!

RP: What are your plans after high school? why did you choose that?

Shayla: After high school I plan on going into the nursing field. I chose to go into the nursing field because I want to help others and make sure that everyone is properly treated.

RP: What is the thing you will miss most about high school after you’ve graduated, why?

Shayla: The thing I will miss most about high school is the close friendships that I have made over the past four years.

Shayla: Some words I try to live by are “throw kindness around like confetti” and “She believe she could, so she did”

RP: What are you most looking forward to in your senior year? Why?

Shayla: I am looking forward to all of the senior activities that will happen throughout the year because this is our last year to participate in them.

RP: What is something that you would tell your younger self? Why?

Shayla: Something that I would tell my younger self would be to worry less because everything happens for a reason.

The best part of my senior photo session was making a connection with Danielle because once I knew I could be myself, I knew the pictures would turn out amazing!
